Communication and SMS Privacy Policy

As part of our commitment to providing accessible care, we use SMS (text messaging) to facilitate communication about scheduling and appointment reminders. By initiating or replying to text messages with Nurturing Mind, Body & Spirit, you agree to the following:

  1. SMS Consent:

    • We may send SMS messages related to scheduling, reminders, and confirmations.

    • You can opt out of SMS communication at any time by replying "STOP" to any message or contacting our office.

  2. Opt-Out Options:

    • Notify us directly at (510) 225-4040 or reply "STOP" to any message to discontinue text communications.

  3. Confidentiality in SMS:

    • While we take reasonable measures to secure SMS communication, text messaging may not be fully secure. If you prefer an alternative communication method, please inform us.

To ensure your privacy, no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Additionally, all other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How to File a Complaint

If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with Nurturing Mind, Body & Spirit or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR). Filing a complaint will not impact your care.
