As a Social Worker, I am passionate about helping others. Upon graduating from my master's program I explored many areas in the social work field and realized that becoming a therapist was what interested me the most. I enjoy supporting clients in cultivating healthier thought patterns and behaviors through cognitive behavioral techniques.
I am currently an associate clinical social worker earning my hours to acquire licensure in the state of California. As a therapist I have experience working with the youth population, I specialize in anxiety and depression and help clients with utilizing cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness strategies to reframe their thoughts and behaviors.
As a therapist, I am warm, open, encouraging, and direct. I consider myself an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity, and a sense of humor with a down-to earth, realistic approach to counseling.
