Meet
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with over seven years of experience in diverse clinical settings. I specialize in working with individuals and families navigating complex challenges such as substance use disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, and child welfare system involvement. I have completed the required clinical hours for licensure and am preparing to take the LMFT exam.
My therapeutic approach emphasizes collaboration, empathy, and empowerment, using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care. I aim to help clients overcome life’s difficulties and achieve lasting healing.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from National University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UC San Diego. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinician, I am dedicated to making therapy accessible and culturally responsive. Beyond my clinical practice, I mentor and educate others in the behavioral health field and remain committed to lifelong learning by attending workshops and training to stay at the forefront of effective therapeutic practices.
Currently, I focus on providing specialized care to promote healing and positive outcomes for individuals and families. Outside of my work with clients, I enjoy engaging with the community, supporting local mental health initiatives, and developing my professional skills.
